Programme information
Developed in collaboration with GitHub and experienced senior programmers and IT professionals, this course provides a thorough understanding of Python programming fundamentals and what a programming role entails, including how to install and set up Python. You will practice the building blocks of Python programs, explore the features and functions of object-oriented programming, and learn to use commonly used libraries and tools, including GitHub.
This course focuses on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to begin a career in software development, building your confidence to start programming applications with Python. You will: write Python programs, explore basic Python elements and debug code, understand the elements of object-oriented programming, create and manage files and versions, describe the API economy and spec-driven development, and build and consume secure APIs.
